In my first year at university, I carried out research and analysis of the Spring Summer 2020 fashion trend, ‘Chunky Chains’, that was being seen on SS20 catwalks and on the high street. I demonstrated understanding of the trend forecasting process by exploring the trend’s evolution, interpreting its current drivers and influences, and observing how brands were reacting and adapting. The final element of the report involved creating a piece of fashion editorial to inspire how the trend could be utilised within society, of which I used Elle Magazine for inspiration.
