TOP 5 GYMSHARK LIVE BRIEF FINALIST
Upon designing and creating a loyalty programme in response to a live brief set by Gymshark, I was fortunate to be shortlisted as a Top 5 Finalist to professionally pitch my creative ideas to Gymshark’s Loyalty and Retention Team. This is a brand that I had followed avidly for a few years, so I was extremely excited and delighted that I got such an amazing opportunity, and it is an experience that shaped me into the Marketing Branding Creative that I am today.
NTU HELP THE COMMUNITY COMMITTEE MEMBER
During my final year at university, I voluntarily served as the Members’ Representative and Communications Officer for Nottingham Trent University’s Help in the Community society. I was the first person to fulfil this role since I identified the need for additional committee representation to focus on the creation of compelling and informative social media posts to better encapsulate the society’s operations. After pitching my ideas, I secured the role which allowed me to be a collective voice for society members.
FORD MARKETING ENRICHMENT CHALLENGE
At Sixth Form I was chosen to participate in the Ford Marketing Enrichment Challenge. My small team collaborated with a local marketing business who briefed a real-life marketing scenario, to develop a marketing campaign video for the (then) new Ford Focus ST-Line. The challenge enhanced my skillset from creative art direction to campaign development, and two of our final campaign videos were showcased at the school’s employability event.
DUKE OF EDINBURGH'S
AWARD
I take pride in having completed all three levels of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award - Bronze, Silver and Gold - when I was studying my GCSEs and A-Levels. After three years of postponing due to COVID-19, I recently attended Buckingham Palace to be presented my Gold Award by a royal family member. Taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award allowed me to develop a variety of strong, transferable skills such as problem solving and collaboration which I was able to put to good effect during expeditions. Ultimately, I learnt the importance and value of perseverance and commitment.
